"I know that too." The redhead smiled at him and Chase wrapped one arm around his waist, leaning to smell his neck. "... You are so aroused right now, isn't dear?"
◈ — The more I think about it, the faster
I realize how healthy rchack is in comparison
to regular chack.
Well, at least after waters are calm and they get together. Before that, r!Jack tends to minimize r!Chase a lot and send him to ‘play with the other kids’.
But seriously, r!Jack is pretty much an inventor himself, and curious like a toddler, interested in whatever new thing the modern world has to offer. And then, we have r!Chase who is also an inventor and a genius, like r!Jack.
Whenever r!Chase needs to/wants to work in a new project or idea he has, simply has to look for his dragon and say he wants to do ‘X’ thing.
“Oh? A doomsday device?”
“A death ray that makes you suffer the most intense pain ever before killing you!”
“The whole package...”
“Conveniently compacted in one ray!”
“Perfect! What do you need to start? Steel? Iron? Copper goes without saying...”
“Titanium! To make it easier to move!”
“And extra resistant!”
“This is gonna be awesome Jack! AWESOME!”
Meanwhile, in regular chack, Chase seems to be, if not uninterested, still pretty indifferent to modern weapons and that kind of technology.
“Chase, I want to build a doomsday device.”
“A what?”
“Kinda like a death ray that makes people suffer a lot of pain before killing them.”
“There's no need to do that, I will crush them all with my own hands.”
“Well, yeah, I know you can but I want to build my thing, you know?”
“I imagine so. What do you want to build your toy?”
Chase is the kind of person that likes to do his evil ways with his own hands, therefore Jack’s machines aren’t, well, what he needs.
In rchack their dynamic is different, more equal in a way, with both experimenting with projects, machines and magic while laughing hysterically because is just ‘so damn funny and evil’.
In chack, their dynamic is more calm, both do their things by their own side, Chase trains Jack and teaches him magic, and Jack... Well, he does his stuff on his own (at least is how is how is portrayed by many authors, including myself) without Chase being involved in those activities. Which is not bad or wrong, since both are different characters with their own personalities and hobbies.
The only big difference I can find in both ships, that makes me think rchack is a bit healthier, is the fact that r!Jack and r!Chase share an interest in common, a hobby, and both bond over it. Besides the fact that r!Jack tends to treat r!Chase more like an equal instead of someone inferior to him. He is curious enough to let r!Chase try whatever idea he wants to build, even if he himself has half a dozen of doomsday devices hidden somewhere in the mansion, because who knows? Maybe r!Chase can make something different or add a new thing this time.
I believe that the fact they are contemporary to times when a technological revolution played an important role in the lives of people gives rchack a better dynamic to play with.
Now, I love my chack. Is my very first ship in this fandom and I do love them, I’m not looking down to it, I just had this idea in my head that I wanted to share with you. While rchack has a more equal dynamic, the chack has the ‘opposites attract’ plot that I just love too hard.

I have to admit that the r!chack often seems
more ‘healthy’ than normal chack.
Probably because I picture r!Jack being way
more patient with r!Chase than canon Chase
is with canon Jack.
Also, the fact that r!Chase literally just gives
a f /uck about everything and goes straight to
flirting, while dragonlord r!Jack just tries to
keep the boy away because, well, it’s a boy.
and ❝ A date? Tsk, nonsense, be a good boy
and go play with the other kids. ❞

Not posting it here, but yes, I’ve been more active
than in the past months years
and now I’ve this little problem in my hands;
— I wrote a r!chack drabble, that is kinda a sequel
for a r!chack story I’m still writing.
Problem is I want to post the drabble now,
because is finished, but as I said, is kinda a sequel,
and the first part isn’t finished yet.

Chase no era la clase de persona que temía el trabajo duro. ¿Entrenar hasta entrada la noche? Claro. ¿Trabajar hasta tarde en sus robots? Sencillo. ¿Gastar semanas enteras en investigaciones? Por supuesto. ¿Lograr que Jack Spicer, Lord Heylin, se fijara en él?
Ese era el proyecto más ambicioso y agotador de todos pero Chase estaba dispuesto a trabajar duro y hasta el cansancio hasta obtener el éxito.
-Young…
Si, él no temía al trabajo duro.
-Young.
Por más difícil y complicado que fuera.
-¡YOUNG! -ladró el pelirrojo.-
-¿Sí Jack? ¿Me amas ahora? -le preguntó ilusionado, sin dejar de abrazarse a su torso con piernas y brazos como un perezoso a un árbol.-
-¡Por supuesto que no! ¿Acaso vas a quedarte así todo el día?
-¡Claro! Me quedare aquí hasta que me dejes tocar ese lindo trasero.
Un “clink” alcanzó a escucharse cuando Jack lo empujó lejos de sí, gritándole que era demasiado molesto para él.
-Tu trasero se ve tan delicioso… -le dijo con una sonrisa al ver el sonrojo de Jack.-
-¡Deja de acosarme! ¡Suéltame en este instante pequeña rata des…!
-¡Oh Jack, seremos tan felices juntos!
-¡YOUNG! ¡No me obligues a matarte!
-¡No puedo esperar a que tengas a mis bebes como tuviste a Megan!
Tres días después Chase aún no se recuperaba de los golpes y arañazos que le dio al mayor para quitárselo de encima pero él estaba entusiasta; Jack pudo haberlo matado si lo hubiese querido pero se contuvo. Y además, justo cuando lo abandono en su casa, moribundo, el sonrojado pelirrojo mascullo entre dientes;
-Si sigue así… Un poco más y me hará caer.
-Seguiré otro poco más entonces. -le dijo con una sonrisa adolorida y tomo su trasero sin más, provocando que Jack le diera la ultima bofetada que lo envió a la inconsciencia.-
