Quix is dressed lighter than usual. Trading out his typical thicker long sleeved shirts for a thin one, keeping his bandanna of course. He's also wearing shorts instead of sweats or jeans. He's got a notebook in his left hand, with a handwritten essay on the history of archery across the world. It's not short, either, it's referenced every book that Saturn left on the note. It's also referenced other materials that Quix dug up himself, including extra detail on a certain martial art that Quix practices, involving fighting with a bow.

He checks his cellphone. 8am. It's not the earliest he's ever bothered someone, and usually, his morning runs are at 6am. Quix knocks on Saturn's door. Umbral should be returning from his last class soon, so Saturn would be awake anyway. Right? If not, oh well.

mapicc has a chronic wrist pain he usually ignores. really funny thing when youre fighting basically every day. his actual weapons usually can be used as both a sword and an axe, he almost always prefers power attacks and a very messy style. he also never actually has a proper bed to sleep on unless his teammates force him to. zam takes this habit (and many more of them tbh) from him in s5 when at some point they slept almost entirely only in turns (sometimes with another teammates being there too, but mainly just together) and has serious problems in s6 when tries to sleep in a normal bed again.

"Come on. Let's trade, a little secret for secret. You love information exchange! Isn't this right up your alley? You'll really want to hear what I know about V." Quix has a mischievous glint in his eye, and confidence written all over his face.

"There's nothing you could tell me about Virgo that'd shock me. You're insane." Saturn crosses his arms and rolls his eyes, not willing to fall into some kind of trap. Besides, what could Q possibly know that he doesn't already about his close friend? Though, it has been a minute since they've had a chance to catch up ever since he started seeing Umbral more romantically..

"Maybe," comes his coy response with a carefree shrug, "but you're more insane for missing it. I mean, she all but spelled it out til it was too late."

Grey-green eyes squint back. He's bothered now. "What are you talking about, Quix?"

Getting a rise out of S might be enough of an exchange. He could still push for a pry after. But watching the usually oh so calm historian squirm is also fun. He gestures towards him with an brow raised as if to say, you first.

Saturn shifts uncomfortably in his chair, considering what he could share in exchange. He looks away, palm rubbing comfortingly against his jaw. "Ok, fine. I, uh, I sleep with a light on. Whatever. I like it and Umbral likes being able to see if he needs to pop in the room while he's awake." He sighs then glowers over at an eerily content Quix. "Your turn."

"Boring. But fairs fair." The other hops up and leans in close to Saturn's ear, palm covering his mouth for effect over purpose considering they are alone and whispers, "Virgo had the biggest crush on you before you started dating her bully. Dumbass." Then casually leans back into his chair.

"What?" Saturn sputters, nearly jumping out his chair. "Wait, no. WHAT?" He puts his head in his hands for a minute, the bottom of his palms rubbing his eyes as he processes what was just spilled to him. "Are you serious? Really?"

"You really are oblivious, aren't you. I know you're asexual, but this is a whole other level."

"I can't believe I didn't see that. I feel so stupid."
