Cherik!Spy!AU cause I'm a dick. Go!
*coughs* also, sorry this was up so late, quitemajorly, I’ve been only on my phone. I’ll try to only do Charles as he’s the one I’m doing. Anything else feel free to disagree.
1. When Charles first applied for MI6, he legitimately thought be wouldn't make it. He looked at himself in the mirror and wondered how someone scrawny, pale, so effortlessly normal just managed to squeeze his way in. He doesn't think about it much anymore, it dampens his mood.
2. Charles first mission was a rescue operation with Associates Agent 008, Howlett, and Agent 006, Summers. They managed to get the job done but Charles has requested to M (Moira) to never be paired up with them again. (“They fight continuously, non stop. It gets aggravating into the fifth hour,”) Which Moira just sighed and replied with a “You’re not the first one to complain.”
3. Erik changed his life… in the most obscure way possible. Before Lehnsherr, Charles had never opted for that type of information extraction. He’d usually play good cop to any other agent’s bad cop, but this was the first mission that Charles went into alone, so he was grasping at straws by the man who wouldn't share anything. The fact that this man managed to be hot as sin was just a gift from the gods.
4. After his first encounter with Erik, Charles hates to admit it but sex was just… boring. Oh, he’d still find satisfaction in any of the partners he takes home, but it was never the same adrenaline rush. He often wondered if that type of addiction was harming in the first place. He’d beat off at the far away memories when he could, but everything was just so bland afterwards, so vanilla, it pissed him off to all degrees. That Erik, this man he hardly knew, had managed to claim that for his own.
5. Before the Raven incident, Charles only considered himself a social drinker, never wanting to delve into the substance like his mother had. When the thing happened, Charles didn’t think twice, after the ceremony, he locked himself in the hotel room and drank an entire two bottles of Scotch, by their necks before moving to several beers and bottles of other substances. His stomach was treated that night, falling into a case of alcohol poisoning. He was sober for two weeks after before heading right back in. He tries to keep it as controlled as he can, though. He still recognizes he has a problem but elects to ignore it.
