This project means a lot to me. It represents a period where I had to make some really tough decisions. Decisions financially, emotionally etc. From losing my Nana, to losing a record deal, that I thought was going to change my life, to losing friends & love interests. I took all that anger, pain, confusion etc. and I made it sound cool. I put my insecurities into 16s & made them sound arrogant. I did this in music and in real life. This project is about my journey of self discovery. It’s me looking for my “Revenge” in damaging ways to myself & others until I finally get to a place of emotional intelligence. There’s a certain aggression in the music that changes by the end of the project. I didn’t want to literally bitch & moan about my feelings, however I did want to create a bunch of anthems that were the soundtrack to my life in those moments. I hope you enjoy it.
