Under the new administration, Arkham has been more boring than anything else. TheΒ βtherapyβ mostly includes group talks, where people complain, or the meds that Ed selectively takes ( the OCD one does help, but the rest? they seem to work like sedatives, and he does not want that). The lack of books and any proper stimulation has led him to do something he wouldnβt normally do: talk to people. But even that proves to be boring after a while, since most of the inmates (sorry, patients) are lunatics, idiots or both.
The most interesting person, and perhaps closer to his level, seems to be Crane. He is crazy, but Ed has realised that he should really lower his standards.Β Β And so, he approaches him, sitting across him on the table.
