I just read a letter I wrote with no intention of ever sending, addressed to my former best friend after he assaulted me. when I wrote it I described in detail what happened, the aftermath, and my emotions throughout it all, and holy shit that entire situation was fucked up. the combination of SA, violence, betrayal, and manipulation is a bitch. I'm lucky that I've largely managed to work through it and move past it over the last three years, but it's the kind of thing that always stays with you in some way regardless
