Theyre not making this mandatory until October 2020, even then you don't have to until 2023. I linked my account last night and it just allows me to do calls on my quest. No confetti or shit. Just, log in and that's it.

I can see my friend's achievements in games we both own, invite them into the game I'm playing, and do calls. That's it.

And lest we forget. Oculus and Facebook are connected. So oculus already is giving your info to Facebook. I just don't get why people are screaming and threatening. Everyone is up in arms and claiming lawsuits. Yeah sure you will.

Yinz wanna be worked up over fb collecting info? Other sites do it too. And funny thing, maybe read the tos first. You agree to this. Doesnt mean its always right, but still. Calm the fuck down. Its not the end of the world. And not everyone is gonna drop oculus. I sure as fuck wont. I love the quest because its its own device! Its got issues (looking at vrchat...) But its still a wonderful system. Ive used someones rift s awhile ago and was in love. But i don't have the best pc. So boom, quest.
