Through his campaign,wajahat wanted to spread the message of TRUE Islam,wanted to end hate & bigotry within muslim societies.The message of ''Allah Loves Equality'' was spred across the continents.A documentary film by the same name was directed by Wajahat Abbas Kazmi to documents the lives of queer muslims in Islamic State of Pakistan🇵🇰 It was a very courageous thing that he has done.Like A jihad for Love,Poshida:Pakistan's Hidden LGBT, Allah Loves Equality film abled to show Pakistan's underground queer & sexual minority.

What you might not know, though, is that I also feel like an outsider in the LGBTQ community and the British gay scene. It’s not just because said scene is awash with alcohol and an abundance of mostly white faces, two things that mean my hijab and brown skin make me feel like even more of an odd one out. No, it’s the fact that the community is (understandably) apprehensive when they see someone claiming to be one of them yet wearing garb that is in their view symbolic of a system that has disdained and ostracised them for two millennia.

I'm holding space for sufi meditation, specifically for queer Muslims tho many are welcome.

Hello family.

I am sharing with you a piece of myself, an attempt at whirling while allowing the almighty into my self. The greatest advice I’ve ever received regarding sufi whirling is as you align with the divines, arrive just in time. (I might be paraphrasing).

So, I am attuned strongly to feeling uncomfortable with the space I hold. I am brown. I am mixed. I am queer. I am disabled. I am fat. I am Muslim. I am an exorcist and sorceror priest of Babylon. 

As you may be able to see, I am partly paralyzed by a neurological conditioin. I am unstable on my feet. With Allah and and Allat I hold sacred space as a container, a co-creator of the unity of the multiplicitous universe. The spirit of the sacred does not live in the dogmatic rigidity of rules that are meant to silence, to other, or to limit our exuberance. Spirit runs through me and attunes me with the planets, with love, with the thunderous power of the universal creative life force. Allah is the one who made me trans. The deities are the one who allows me instability. And I am the prototype of their intelligence, awakened within my human body.

I am so looking forward to the upcoming lunar cycle and the month of Ramadan. My world can be chaotic, can be out of control, but there is an internal silence that I can welcome. The truth of fasting is to be closer to God. If abstaining from food and drink limits you, oppresses you, or even triggers you, then under Islam you do not have to fast. I fast only for the activation of my spirit, for the lessons, and for the opening of the heavenly bodies consciousness in my heart.

Please join me, queer Muslims, disabled Muslims, any misfits, any who feel unstable or need galactic, merciful, forgiving, loving healing. We will meditate and support each other with true lunar healing, for each of us thunder beings.
