China Airlines' Boeing 747-400 is the first co-branded livery aircraft bearing the original B747-400 blue livery design, and that of the aircrafts' (empennage) which was delivered in 2004 and was nicknamed "Blue Whale", and carry the air registry of B-18210. The B747-8i is the 3rd generation of the B747 family with its predecessors B747-200 & the most popular variant, the B747-400. B747-8 comes in two variants, the 8F and the 8i. 8F is the Freighter variant, while the 8i or the 8-Intercontinental, is the passenger variant. B747-8i took its maiden flight back in March 20, 2011 via the Lufthansa as the first airliner to fly the Queen. Currently, the B747-8 is the longest passenger aircraft that is more fuel efficient than its older sister, the 747-4. Adopting the "i" in its name was acquired since it uses some of the technology of its closest cousin, the B787, especially its flexible wings in-flight for more fuel efficiency. . . Oh geez! I got to stop now! I just cant take my eyes of these beautiful flying maiden. Truly, the B747, be it the -400 or the -8i or even the -200 or the freighter, this truly is my most favorite aircraft since i was a kid up to now. . . This, by the way, is the B747-8i's original livery in the red to orange color scheme, compared to that of her older sister, the B747-400 with its original Boeing Livery in the colortone of blue. . .
