//I've been kicked out of and treated terribly by two communities already, which you know whatever fuck those people I didn't need all these insecurities about my writing. But now this tiny little laid back community I'm in that only had like me and three other people in it at first now has a bunch of new people in and they're trying to take over and set all these outlandish rules and guidelines and take away what we built.

It's really depressing one of my best friends who was in one of the other fandoms with me and is the oldest member of current community out of all of us and these new people are making them feel unwanted and outdated and not worth it anymore and they struggle with a bad case of depression anyway and I work hard to keep them happy and see that they're wonderful but I haven't been able to spend time with them OOC lately and now they're making post about giving up.. and it's just complete bullshit because my friend is a wonderful and talented person who deserves a spot in the community more then these dickheads do.

I don't know what do. I mean I had to take temporary leave from the community for reasons after two of the original four left but as soon as I came back, and I mean literally as soon as I made a post about being back, I was attacked by at least three people for even daring to start posting again because I was playing as a character someone else had picked while I was gone and got called an attention whore when I explained why I had to take a leave of absence in the first place. I was told that I would chase people away by being such a dick (eve though I play a character that is canonly a drunk and an asshole) and that they had a more active and better version of the character and basically tried to get me to leave again.

I really don't want to tell my friend I'm considering backing out and giving them what they want since that's like leaving them alone with the sharks. But at the same time I don't want to tell them to back out either since they really like their character and before all this happened it was really helping to play that character when the depression was getting the better of them.
