Oh that is a very good unpopular opinion!!! I really love the idea of Daenerys in her house colors, I hate that in the show they only showed her in her house colors the last few seasons but especially the last season to show her supposed madness bleeding through.

We know that Dany is not the last of her house, but we also know that she also has quite a conflicting relationship with her house also. She finds strength in herself as a Targaryen, as a dragon, as a descendant from Aegon himself, but we also know that her morals go against her ancestors (the Vallyrians) who participated and had slaves, we also know that she desperately wants to not be her father. I think she wants to associate herself with house targaryen, but she also wants to rebrand it if that makes any sense? So her not wearing the colors in the books could have something to do with that... Very good thoughts I always love it when we have discussions :)

I feel like the tagging system is to blame for that. Since there's no limit on the number of characters you can tag and because there's no main character category, it's impossible to search for gen fic centered on a specific character. If you try, you'll get a zillion results where the characters you're looking for only say two words total.

We’ve gotten a lot of feedback from people asking us to postpone Arya Week. And of course we understand since there’s a lot going on in the world right now, so we have decided to push it back to July.

Take comfort in the fact that the North is the region that benefited most from the unification of Westeros since they have so few resources and fertile ground, so they'll be dead within five years, especially if another long winter hits.
