@trishabeakens So I heard that Nera wouldnât be the most fond of Xandra if they ever met, which was really funny to me. So I wrote it out, hope you enjoy!Â
Nera and Altador stood away from the party, taking a break from the socializing. Neither of them wanted to be here, but it was a sign of good-will celebrating Fyoraâs recovery from⌠whatever she had. The least they could do was go to her party.
      Nera squinted. âIs that⌠Xandra?â
      âWhat?â Altador inquired.
The speckled Xweetok was making a beeline to them. The queen stepped in front of Altador, face morphing to disgust.
Xandra looked rather flustered, avoiding their gaze. âDonât worry, Iâm not dangerous. My magic has been nullified and Fyora knows Iâm here.â
Altador frowned over his wifeâs shoulder. âI heard you were on parole, but why would you come here?â
âIâm not here to party,â she replied quickly. âIâm here to⌠apologize.â
âOh, really?â Nera glared daggers, and Xandra seemed to shrink.
âYes. Iâm sorry I deceived you, and Iâm sorry I turned you to stone,â the speckled Xweetok met Altadorâs eyes, grimacing. âIt was unforgivable, and Iâve regret what I did so much since then.â
âI canât believe you,â the Queen of Altador was fuming. âWhat would you have done if you had won?â
      Xandra eyes widened. âI-â
Nera pointed a finger at her. âYou would have left my husband a statue, and left Neopia to be swallowed by darkness. Youâre not sorry.â She marched towards the smaller Xweetok, who backed away. âYouâre sorry you lost.â
Xandra swallowed. âI- Iâve changed a lot since then.â
âDonât you think my husband has been through enough without you turning him to a garden piece?!â Nera towered over Xandra who was now pressed up against a wall. âYou gave Xweetoks a bad name. You even stole my cape design!â
Xandraâs terror switched into confusion. âWhat?â
Altador put his paw on his wifeâs shoulder, drawing her back. âNera, thatâs enough.â
Nera crossed her arms. âAltador, sheâs cramping my style!â
The Lupe looked towards the frightened speckled Xweetok, who looked as though she had stared death in the face. âI forgive you Xandra. Just⌠never repeat your errors again.â
Xandra smiled, relieved. âThank you.â Then she hurried off, Neraâs glaring eyes following her every move.
