I like to think that whenever a heated argument comes up, Gopal is the one who truly gets everyone to calm down. After all, he’s the comedic one of the group. Erasing him would definitely make the group more tense (we need more internal conflicts in the team anyways mwehehehehe). In a world where Gopal straight up does not exist, I like to imagine Boboiboy and Fang in particular would get REALLY heated up at each other and their rivalry would last longer than in canon

If we were to imagine a scenario where Gopal disappears though, I think the boys would be hit by his absence hard. Him and Boboiboy are basically stuck like glue in Galaxy S1 and Movie 2, Fang has some notable moments with him in the original series, and Qually is his BFF throughout Galaxy S2 (and imo their friendship became more believable as the season goes on). Imo Qually would try filling the gap Gopal left since they’re pretty similar in their interests, but all attempts fell flat

It's another instance where Boboiboy was put into a situation where he effectively couldn't do anything for some time and allowed the other characters to have the spotlight (honestly i just like any chapter where other characters get development. Gopal and Qually having to take charge even though they're scared? 10/10. Adu du calling TAPOPS for help because he wants to save his friend? incredible. The implication that he's straddling the line of good and evil? wow.)

and in this case, he was even a liability to the team because he was Very Useless

And this was just because he felt like being a lil shxt and bringing out a new fusion when he was told he wasn't allowed to use Frostfire instead of using. anyone else. which he felt. Very Bad About.

Which in turn sort of triggers Gentar's character development. He, who was shown to be arrogant, flamboyant and impulsive, too quick to attack, had to learn to wait and let the opponent attack so he could discover his powers, an absolutely scrumptious writing decision.

Also making use of the continuity from Adu du's training under Tok Kasa and using the chip put into Ochobot was Very Good

and these man made horrors beyond my comprehension
