- You’d have to be very close with Sang-Wook to get to this stage of intimacy, like you’ve already said “I love you” at this stage

- My man’s kinda insecure about his scars because they’ve only ever been seen in a intimidating, scary kind of way. So he doesn’t want to scare you

- One day he’s really worked up and stressed so you find a quiet place to loosen up together.

- If you’re topping; he tried to be the lead at the start but once you pin him against a wall and put him in his place, he’s putty in your hands.

-If you’re subbing; Sang-Wook is very gentle, as he doesn’t want to hurt you, but as soon as you reassure him, he’s going to make sure you’ll be walking funny for a week.

- He really, REALLY likes it when you pull his hair

Rain pittered against window panes, the water droplets holding races to see who could hit the ground first. The sound of the rain echoed throughout the first floor, lulling the residents to sleep.

My eyes gazed upon the sleeping forms of the residents, some were huddled together for comfort and warmth. A sigh fell from my lips, a heavy feeling had settled in my stomach. I tried to distract myself by watching the rain fall but my thoughts would not stop returning to my insecurities. I ran a hand through my hair, I was trying my best to not give into the dread I felt.

Warmth flooded my body as the fabric of a jacket was placed around my shoulders. My head turned to meet the stare of Sang-Wook. “You’ll catch a cold” He muttered, taking a seat next to me.

“Yeah” I half heartedly responded, trying to appear as if nothing was wrong, but fortunately for me, Sang-Wook knew me too well.

“What is it that’s bothering you?” Sang-Wook spoke, taking my hands into his, making eye contact to coax me to talk about my problems.

“I just- it’s stupid, don’t worry about it” I turned my gaze away from him, taking my hands from his, and placing them in my lap. I could see Sang-Wook frown from the corner of my eye

“It’s not stupid if it’s worrying you, talk to me” concern hung heavy on his words. He lifted his hand to cup my cheek, bringing me to look him in the eyes.

“It’s just that you spend so much time away that maybe you’re doing it because you don’t want to be around me? I don’t know, I know I’m not that good at fighting, like you and Hyun-Su, so it makes sense you don’t want to be around the weak. So if you want to leave me than you can it’s just that-“ My voice wavered more with every word that I spoke, my thoughts came spilling out, finally venting all my worries. I was cut off by the feeling of chapped lips against mine, Sang-Wook’s hand still cupped my cheek.

Oxygen filled my lungs as we parted to catch our breaths. Sincerity was clear in Sang-Wook’s voice as he spoke “I apologise for my absence, if I knew you wanted me to stay, I would’ve. You may not be our best fighter but everyone has their strengths, I know I wouldn’t survive without you. You are not weak in any way, you are one of the strongest people I know, much more than me.” Sang-Wook paused a small smile tugging on his lips, his thumb caressed my cheek softly “I would never leave you, I love you far too much”. I leant into his touch my eyes fluttering shut, moments like these were what kept me going.

Small sobs escaped my lips, my emotions were making my body shake, slowly suffocating me. I couldn’t breathe, as if my emotions were cold sea water filling my lungs as I struggled against the tide. Times were hard, even before the world was taken by a curse that turned human desire into grotesque monsters. I struggled to stay afloat before such event but now it was harder than ever, as if cramps had taken hold of my limps, bringing my inevitable drowning. I tried to quieten my sobs as the other residents had witnessed enough despair already. I had found a far away room to isolate myself in, curling up in the corner and holding my legs close to my chest. 

“You should never be alone in times like this” A monotone voice stated from the doorway. I turned my head to the speaker, resting my eyes on Sang-Wook, his hands in his pockets as per usual. 

“Do I look like I care?” I replied, wiping at my face, trying to appear tough, unwilling to show how broken I truly was. 

“No” Sang-Wook spoke, walking forward towards me “And that’s what concerns me” his tone softened as he sat in front of me, making eye contact. “Do you want to talk about it or just silently enjoy each other’s presence?” 

“I don’t know” I sighed, shaking my head in frustration. I opened my eyes to see Sang-Wook holding his hands out, offering for me to put my hands in his. I took the offer, enjoying the comfort his warm skin brought. “I guess this whole apocalypse thing has put things into perspective for me and I don’t like what I see. Everyone is so affected by it, but I feel as if nothing’s changed, I guess because the world was always like this to me. It was always a hard life, I feel too many emotions or none at all, my mood swings go from zero to one hundred in a matter of seconds, and back down again. It’s just so tiring to feel so much that I’m clutching my chest, trying to breathe. But also feel nothing at all, as if there were a gaping hole where my feelings should be. I’m self destructive and so angry and I hate myself for it” I met Sang-Wook’s eyes, they shone with sincere care “I just want everything to be okay, I just want to be normal” My gaze dropped from his, insecurity suddenly flooding my thoughts.

A thoughtful hum came from Sang-Wook as he ran a thumb over my knuckles. “It’s okay to feel how you feel, you should never feel guilt for it. The world was made for neurotypical people and unfortunately aspects of this are everywhere, reminding you of how much you struggle. Everything will never be okay, there will always be bad days, but it’s important to know that you can’t recover without a few relapses. Life will always be harder for you but you will learn how to make it that little bit easier, you will learn how to keep fighting. And the only way to know if you can get better is to keep yourself alive until that happens.” Sang-Wook spoke, ending his speech with a ghost of a smile. I looked at him, completely puzzled. “What?” He asked, taking notice of my confused stare

“Sorry, that was what I needed to hear and it made me feel better but...that’s the most I’ve ever heard you say” The corner of my lips quipped up with amusement. 

“I talk, but only to people I like” He replied, his energy reflecting my amusement. 

“I’m honoured” I smiled, hand over my heart, mocking excitement 

“I do like you Y/N, very much so” sincerity hung onto his words, as he squeezed my hands a little tighter.

I believe that Pyeon SangWook is infected, and has been since the start. This would explain why he knows so much about the monsters, he knows how to kill them and how to find them.

SangWook was hunting them from the beginning of the outbreak, something a clueless bystander would not do. I believe the man he had wrapped up in ductape in his apartment knew something about the outbreak, and SangWook was trying to get answers.

He was also able to kill the hungry monster single handily. He grabbed her by the neck as she came full speed at him and he was able to stop her dead in her tracks. That is something a normal person would not be able to do. When SangWook’s talking to Jisu Yoon about the hungry monster, he punches the metal sheet door and leaves an indent, this would break almost all your bones in your hand. Yet he doesn’t react? To me this is a clear sign that he’s infected.

It would also make sense as to why he’s “alive” in episode 10. A lot of people theorise that it’s Ui Myeong who’s taken over his dead body. Which is possible but doesn’t explain any of the above evidence of infection. Maybe after he was shot he had one of those regeneration naps and then went to help Cha Hyun Su.

Even in both possession or infection possibilities the scars being gone doesn’t add up. As when Cha Hyun Su got infected he still kept his s*lf h*rm scars as they were inflicted BEFORE infection. SangWook’s burns were inflicted way before his possible infection too. It seems that even with possession and infection you can’t heal previous scars.

Also monsters don’t hurt other monsters unless threatened... Sangwook was the only person left alive when getting grabbed by the reach monster. A clear sign that he wasn’t killed because he’s already infected.

Sangwook also survived multiple blows to the back of his skull from a sledgehammer at full force, that would 100% kill somebody, yet he survives?

He also didn’t get attack when stepping out of the building, something no one had done without getting killed after taking a few steps. Yet he’s able to walk all the way to the cement tubes? The tongue monster was sitting in the tube directly above him but he wasn’t attacked. Again I believe he’s not getting attacked because he is already infected.

-Using a hammer as a weapon to symbolise him dealing justice, and using the same one a pedo tried to kill him with, effectively surviving the “corrupt system and finally dealing justice himself”

- Went into instant protection mode of Yoon and Hyun-Su when the speed monster was about to go for them

-Went from being a mysterious intimidating criminal to just constantly looking like this

As soon as he joined the first floor group, most of the time just in the background going

- Cared enough to bring in the soldier and Cha Jin Ok’s daughter’s bodies from outside so they could bury them and have closure.

-“I deserved to be punched. I’m sorry”

“Me too. I’m sorry I punched you” my boy do be realising that these are good people and that’s he’s willing to do anything to save them

- The thug realising that Sang-Wook had the guns safety on when they were being cornered by Sang-Wook and said “you don’t know how to use that do you” and Sang-Wook responding “No, I didn’t serve in the military” and then beating the shit out of them with the gun like it was a blunt object

-Tired dad energy when he has Yeong-Su piggyback him while he takes down thugs

“Close your eyes” child and thug closes their eyes “not you you shit”

-Walls into the room and sees everyone pointing guns, also points his gun at the door without asking any questions while looking confused
