After a very long day yesterday at the yard sale. It is important in life to purge every so often. Holding on to unnecessary things blocks our energy for moving forward in life. We can become emotionally stuck and overwhelmed holding on to clutter. Today I feel an energy boost after selling things yesterday and today I am donating the left overs to charity. Saying goodbye to things in the past opens doors to the future. Clutter can weigh us down in body, mind and spirit and anchor us to hurtful and painful memories. Many times letting go of things and releasing them to others is a first step in a brand new path. We can find that we may buy things during times of emotional pain to give ourselves love. Many times these are things that hold painful memories as we start to heal. As we forgive letting go of these things feels freeing. When it is time to move on we may feel a need to let go of material things in our life. Fresh starts are exciting and filled with positive energy. Don’t be weighed down with too much unnecessary stuff. It can anchor us to negative, hurtful emotions and bring frustration, guilt, unhappiness, isolation and being overwhelmed.
