I’ve done the legwork (and the vlogging) to show you exactly what’s on the shelves right now. Here are the two best spots to level up your collection:

1. GamerzVania: The Ultimate Retro & Vintage Haven

Located on Hamed Al Jaser Street (Al Rawdah), GamerzVania is more than just a retro gaming store—it’s a time machine. If you are looking for "holy grail" items, this is your first stop.

What you’ll find:

Vintage Comics: I spotted 1960s Superman issues (including the 30th Anniversary issue!) and rare Marvel gems.

Graded Issues: They carry professional CGC-graded comics, like a 9.8 Spawn #295.

Insane Statues: From Sideshow Collectibles to a massive 15kg Batmobile Tumblr.

Retro Vibes: While you're there, check out their vintage NES, PS1, and Sega consoles.

2. Jarir Bookstore: The King of Collected Editions

Specifically, the Sari Street branch has recently stepped up its game. Jarir has made a massive comeback for fans of Graphic Novels and high-end art books.

What you’ll find:

Taschen Coffee Table Books: These are museum-quality books. I found the Marvel Age of Comics and The Amazing Spider-Man (Steve Ditko era) in massive formats.

Illustrated Histories: Detailed hardcovers on the history of Batman and Black Panther.

Trade Paperbacks (TPBs): A solid selection of DC Rebirth, New 52, and modern Marvel runs (like Brian Michael Bendis’ Man of Steel).

Modern Accessibility: It’s the best place to find "Omnibus" style collections and English graphic novels at retail prices.
