He swung. Side to side.
Never once was he caught, never once did he fall.
His wings buzzing and flapping unnaturally, like a bird who'd lost flight.
His fragile porcelain limbs clinking against each other as he moved.
His eyes, once full of life and sparkling with joy, now stare into nothing, empty and void of emotion
The once fluid movements he made, replaced with jerks of his arms, kicks of his legs, the lurches of his head
He fights an invisible force, never understanding why he does what he does. Never knowing what to make of it

Me pregunto cuán vacío debe estar alguien por dentro para convertirse en la marioneta de otra persona. Tal vez ni siquiera se da cuenta de todos los hilos que han tejido a su alrededor debido a su falta de interés por lo que lo rodea. Es una pena que, siendo inteligente, no se atreva a dar rienda suelta a su iniciativa propia.
