You know what kinda pisses me off?
When people say that Frank sees his son in Peter. I’m sorry, but it doesn’t really make sense. No offense to Frank, but his son was young when he was killed. He didn’t have time to develop into someone, if that makes sense. Peter is a grown man, he would be very different from a child.
You know what I think?
I think Frank sees HIMSELF in Peter. Maybe seeing a different play he could’ve taken, a different coping mechanism to use rather than killing people.
Think about it.
They both have very similar backgrounds. They both have lost everything over and over and over again. They both often bottle their emotions up and push away the people that care abt them for fear of hurting them.
Yet, they both deal with it in different directions. Frank copes with revenge, while Peter copes with justice. Both are very similar concepts. We know that Frank used to be happy go lucky before all the bs that happened to him, just like Peter.
I hope this makes sense, I just don’t see him seeing Peter as his son.
