October 2nd, 2012, EXID released the single: Every Night

EXID (이엑스아이디) is a girl group under Banana Culture. EXID is short for Exceed in Dreaming, and 2012 was their debut year. The group originally consisted of: Dami (다미), Yuji (유지), Haeryung (해령), LE (엘리), Hani (하니) and Jeonghwa (정화). The group debuted in February and in April it was announced that Yuji, Dami and Haeryung would be leaving the group. ‘Every Night’ became the first release with Solji (솔지) & Hyelin (혜린) being added to the group and EXID performing with the lineup they are known with today.

it sounds class and tasteful and has a mature vibe to it and their newest song “You’ve changed” is slower and very nostalgic sounding

4. Sugar Tint “Heart Ppyong”

if youre into retro sounding music you should listen to this its hella catchy

5.  WANNA.B “LEGGO”

this group leans a little more towards girl crush concept so i recommend “Attention” and “Hands Up” as well

Today’s underrated bop of the day is “Stay” by Pungdeng-E!

The final PDE song chosen is Super Market, a digital single that was released in 2018 and was one of the last songs they released. The only released 2 albums and promoted in Japan for a time but their small discography is very fun.

The song has a very repetitive club EDM horn on its production. The girls deliver one last unserious campy song with style. Their MVs were always no budget but this time they just filmed in a white room, I kinda miss when they filmed outside or in rooms with book shelves but they had a good run.

After sometime the group disbanded in 2020.

They might not have been on the same level as Orange Caramel or Crayon Pop but they definitely deserve to be talked about more with those 2 groups when it comes to fun and quirky concepts.

The next song chosen is Caramel Macchiato. The standalone digital single has a fun upbeat EDM melody mixed with a guitar. The song didn't get an official MV, instead what we got was the members filming themselves performing the song live in a office room. The girls are very good at performing their fun unserious songs. Truly a one of a kind group.

The next song chosen is an ultimate fan favorite, or at least it should be because it's mine, is 삐삐빠빠 (Bbibbi Ppappa). The song has a nice jazzy band production giving it a nice full sounding feel that matches well with their silly vocal delivery.

The music while still low budget was definitely very silly and unserious, the choreo is very goofy and the girls do well taking this unserious choreo very seriously. This song should definitely put someone in a good mood.
