Seo In Young of Jewelry has started a YouTube channel and today she uploaded a special Jewelry reunion stage!
In the past whenever Jewelry reunites for musical performances it's always been the 2008-2010 lineup of Jungah (1st gen), Seo In Young (2nd gen) and Baby J and Eunjung (both 3rd gen members). Which makes sense because they would always perform their mega hit One More Time, to which those 4 members were the ones during that era.
However this video shows Jungah and Seo In Young joined on stage with Lee Jihyun (1st gen) and Choi Minah (2nd gen), also a special cameo of Baby J at the end but let's focus on the importance of this 4. This lineup together released numerous hits and 3 full length albums and promoted in Japan for a few years together. So this is monumental because it's been over 20 years since we've seen these 4 on stage performing music BUT also this is reunion is also a symbol of healing the sisterhood. Seo In Young got married (though she's divorced now) a few years ago and Choi Minah wasn't invited to the wedding causing some serious online drama, Minah was publicly upset over not getting invited like Jihyun did as well as never getting asked back to reunion performances. However seeing these 4 of stage together again, along with Seo In Young addressing the situation it appears the sisterhood of Jewelry has been healed 💕🥹
The quartet performed their hits Again and Tonight (both released in 2002), I Really Like You (2003) and Super Star (2005). After this time Baby J joins the stage and performs One More Time (2008) with the group. We've never seen Jihyun and Minah perform this song obviously since they left the group so it was nice to see this rendition, granted I believe those two just split Eunjung's parts for the most part, also Jihyun was giving Narsha at the point making it too sexy for laughs 🤣. Afterwards they surprisingly performed Love Story released in 2009. Love Story was an emotional song it was the final song Jungah and Seo In Young were part of and I remember the live stages of them all, minus Jungah being the strong leader, crying a lot 😭 and of course this song sparked some emotion, not just being a nice ballad but also clearly it was nice the the group to be reunited in this way 🥹 a powerful performance!
Glad to see Jewelry together again 💕 glad all the grievances have been aired out and the sisterhood has been healed 💕
