Be it through fate or by unfortunate circumstance, Yasuhiro has found himself crossing the path of The Ancients by coming across the Tome of Eternal Darkness. The Ancients don’t take kindly to those who throw a wrench in their plans, and have sought to move against him and humanity as a whole. -Alternatively- In place of Pious Augustus, Yasuhiro serves as the antagonist, pledging his alignment to either Xel’lotath or Ulyaoth. Depending on how new his “deal” is and the circumstances, he would be significantly weaker than Pious Augustus*. ____ This verse can take place in pre-despair, no-despair, or post-despair. With the former, there is a high chance that Yasuhiro will not survive, and if so, will be heavily traumatized. That may be implied with most of the canon characters who have passed away before the start of Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem.

Yasuhiro came to question the rule of Neo-Queen Serenity growing up in Crystal Tokyo. Yasuhiro's conflicts with the Senshi and the Queen come from his fractured Buddhistic perspective. To die, as much as he didn't want to, was natural. Wars, too, are part of the human condition. That was why achieving Nirvana was his goal. Would world peace, though he found it desirable, later stifle individuality? And would that make his clairvoyance obsolete? Further questioning led him to believe that humanity had been brainwashed by Neo-Queen Serenity; where people found him annoying before, his new fervor drove them away--until he drew the eyes of the resistance fighting against the Senshi and the queen. Although he was not on the front lines of the revolt, he was complicit by aiding his support in more indirect ways. For this, he was banished to Nemesis along with the rest of the Black Moon Clan. Much of his duties are centered around reconnaissance and espionage. Between finding resources to maintain survival on Nemesis, recruits for the cause, or lesser crystal points, Yasuhiro prefers to work with little conflict. Earth is his home, and he would care not to lose it. He cannot help but feel a sense of betrayal and abandonment from the people of Earth. If the war destroys Earth, then where else would he and his stuff go?
