What was supposed to be a simple one-night stand turned out to be way more complicated than Kevin thought possible, but that was just his luck, wasn't it?
All that being said, desipte me describing psychics in the description of vakalomorphy, despite including them explicitly under the term... I didn't clearly delineate a term for psychics who are vakalomorphs. Which makes sense, we're not too heavy on the microlabels, but I kinda did it for "theriomorph" and "queermorph" (technically should be "transmorph", but I'm afraid to touch that right now)
I think "psychic morpher" might be just what we need, term wise? I've been having issues with the other terms for various reasons - theriomorphic seems too atheistic for me (not touching upon beliefs or origins, which is good for some people but not for us), it doesn't touch upon the spiritual nature of this for us, and it's very rigid for us to use. Nothing wrong with the term itself, it's just not for us?
"Psychic morpher" or psymorph touches upon all of that. It's also premade - something about a premade term gives it more legitimacy, I find? I don't know why but it feels like the equivalent of having a cited paper in the news - it helps others believe that you're not bullshitting.
Unfortunately, it's hard to find more information about it. There's this post, but it's hard to understand due to doublespeak and the way the authors talk about it - though it seems familar enough to understand, still. I think we're experiencing what the term means though, and it fits well with how we experience this. We do travel from the non paranormal to paranormal dimensions (via numen and shifting/morphing) and that is a major part of our practice.
