By the edge of the street I found a piece of wire in the dirt. It formed itself into a shape and flew off to the nearest branch. We’re still friends.

Remember to be good to your best friend: Yourself. @ The Opera in Oslo, in a random lady's toilet.
#psweekly old note: [Note with cute drawings in clear colors. The text, translated, says] :
“Now, remember that the important one should be your top priority the one you should love the most: you.”
I put this one on the subway to town. I hid it at the side of my seat, but didn’t notice how it followed me when I stood up so it fell to the floor on the subway, being read by several more people than once planned.
Introducing Notes-competition!
We`ve all seen the Weekly Notes that we so want to feature here on PoeticStories. Now we`re introducing our very own Notes-Competition!
Each month, a new theme-based notes-competition will be posted.
This month`s theme is:  “Maybe we CAN do a difference!”
To participate you may: Write physical notes: For people to find, out in the “wild”, inside a store, everywhere. Send letters: To write and send letters of great hope to a random “someone” Send great asks: Lighten someone`s day by sending wonderful asks in their inbox. As well as sending messages in all other social media platforms. Emails sent as a stranger: Make an anonymous email-address and send positive things. *this must be submitted to us privately to keep the identity of the person secret* Random wonderful idea: If you would like to do something else, to come up with a wonderful idea to brighten someone`s day - send it in!!!Â
*Whatever you choose to submit to the competition has to be documentet in some way.Â
Take a photograph of your note, or letter.
A screenshot of your anonymous email (will not be posted as to keep the identity hidden, but will be considered. If this submission is winning, parts of the positive text will be extracted and shared with the audience, but identities of reciever hidden).
Whatever else you come up with - you`ll have to document it in some way. Maybe a story about something. The point is: you have to be doing something positive for someone, an impact.Â
****The GRAND PRIZE:****
A monthly winner will be chosen, and compete for a GRAND PRIZE every 4 months. The GRAND PRIZE is an exclusively made package filled with notes, pens, paper, glue, glitter, glimmer, whatever awesome stuff for the season made to make YOU a NOTES EXPERT!Â
We track the tag #psweekly and EVERYONE participating on this tag (with proper submission) will be considered for the GRAND PRIZE!
So, what are you waiting for??Â
Go make the world a better place!!
Popup Prompt!!! 🌹
PoeticStories is all about spreading positivity and one way we do that is through psweekly notes. The pop-up prompt is Hidden Notes
In some parts of the world, there will be a lot of hidden Easter Eggs this weekend and so we thought it would be a great time to write a positive, encouraging message and hide it (perhaps in an Easter Egg, but this is not required). Take a photo of the note and the hiding place, tag it as #psweekly and on Sunday, we’ll unveil your positive message!

[Handwritten note lying on rocks in front of flowers and stream reads]
Listen to the birds as they recite their poetry, watch the sun smile, feel the wind take your hand, and know You’ll be ok That’s right You’ll be ok
[Photo of a three and a half leaf clover against a black background. White text reads.]
In the clover patch We found the one With three and a half And I wondered If it were just as lucky
That night We said we’d just be friends But we’d have to say it once again  Three and a half years later
[Photo of a tree overlooking a stream. The tree has a note with a flower.]
“Your bud bursts through your tough winter bark. Soon, you will be blooming.”
