Postnova on timber hearth they find a baby in the quantum grove. A nomai baby to be specific. They bring it back to the village, and obviously, everyone immediately assumes it's solanum's. She insists it couldn't be hers. That wasn't possible. They perform a dna test because Where the freak did this baby come from. Results come back. The mother is solanum. The other parent is the hatchling. Everyone stares at the screen, confused. Someone looks back at the now-tadpole.
Or, Quantum Baby Came From Nowhere. Are they a Hearthian or a Nomai? Well, that certainly changes. They have an abnormally few amount of forms for a quantum object, but they live and breathe perfectly happy and healthy in both. So that's a win.
Theyre named after a fungus. Bolete maybe. Or cordy for cordyceps. Idk. Whatever. Becauuseeits not a plant or a rock and nobody could decide how to name thwm

The end of the universe has come, and Solanum is now certain that her journey within it has come to an end. With nothing more to do, she follows a strange signal into the Quantum Moon's polar vortex ... and finds a place – an experience – both familiar and entirely new, holding a few more things for her to identify and explain before whatever remains of her consciousness and will can at last be embraced by oblivion.
This fic presents a sort of connecting sequence, in a way, between Solanum as we last see her on the Quantum Moon and Solanum as we see her in the moment the illustration depicts, full of all sorts of mind-reflecting mind-bending terminal quantum weirdness!
To that end, it shares most (if not all) of the thematic elements, existential mysteries, and forms of certainty and uncertainty that we experience in the ending of the game itself (although there is the key difference of Solanum still being a Nomai, and therefore Being A Nomai™ about what she encounters). Do with this info what you will!
