There were more humans making the trek towards his shrine as of late, and many of them coming with offerings in exchange for insight or favor in regards to sly foxes and outrageous suggestions they were much more clever than snakes. To those, their journeys were fated to end sweetly.

Riddles and twisted words, many of those offenders were sent towards this forest. For if one wished to draw out the most elusive of foxes, one must gain their attention. Trim their woods until there is no where for the fox to hide~ However the fools chose to do that, it made the naga little difference. When other guests come with woes and revelation of previous transgressors of this friendly fox, Aster would laugh gleefully.

It was deeply amusing to toy with such a creature he had never met. To what did these mortals find so interesting in them anyway that they seek the snake's voice for the fox's presence? He wanted to know. Little pests...

♕ - Seeing firsthand the extent of her progress was a sensation Sora didn’t know how to put words into. Ranging from exhilaration to pride, natural excitement to a sense of security that she gained the means to protect herself, it threw his mind for quite the loop! Ironically the center of his whirlwind of thoughts also happened to be the stable eye within the storm as she settles her head onto his shoulder. Small details down to the sweet scent of her shampoo could be picked up as they settled into a instance of closeness.

Happiness. Even if they’re sweaty, mildly beat up and barely hanging at of a location far from home. It dawned to the keybearer that home itself really did build itself as the people in your life. His bright eyes softened, naturally snagged by her presence as smile settled onto his face. Small of a hope it was, he was wishing that in some strange way she couldn’t pick up the quickened pace of his heart from his shoulder. Keeping her this close was a paradox in itself. How in the worlds do you feel energized but so content all the same? “It’s not a problem.. I mean, never a problem. C’mon. After all we’ve been through?”

“Being one of my best friends on top of that?”

”I’ll always be here, wherever ya need me. Just like how I know you’d be for me.”

She was someone who held the pinnacle of his trust. No amount of distance and stop could hope to stop him from having her back. If only he knew the extent of that protective streak and how far it goes for her. Thoughts like however weren’t remotely close to his mind. After speaking from his heart, he keeps himself in a straightened position, leaving himself something comfortably sturdy to support himself on as their eyes could drink in the horizon before them.
