Okie dokie Anon lemme lay some knowledge on ya~

Schizoaffective disorder is a combination of symptoms of schizophrenia and mood disorders, such as depression or bipolar disorder. Symptoms might occur at the same time or at different times.

Schizophrenia and Bipolar disorder as a separate diagnoses will of course combat eachother when it comes to symptoms happening at the same time,

Bipolar is a disorder associated with episodes of mood swings ranging from depressive lows to manic highs.

Schizophrenia is a disorder that affects a person's ability to think, feel, and behave clearly. They also loose the ability to tell from reality and their "Imagination", I wouldnt use that word normally but I'm blanking right now 'cause im off to my therapist appt,

So in a way the only way they differ, to me at least, is that Schizoaffective disorder already has the mood disorder symptoms attached at the hip so you'd only need one diagnosis which is more easier to attain because in order to get the other two(2) diagnoses you'll need to spend a lot more time observing your own symptoms and taking note for you and your doctor.

But they are a little bit different in how they operate.

It is possible you might have both since you were experiencing both of the disorder's symptoms, if you think you're faking the disorders or that you're just manipulating yourself into thinking your faking it, I dont think you're faking because unless you woke up one day and said, "Hey, I'm gonna fake all of these symptoms and everything about the disorders!" And legit planned out how you're going to fool people and doctors about you having the disorders than no you're not faking it.
