I recently watched the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. It made me...think.
About Proximus, having another human, a female one that he enjoys having around.
About him keeping her under constant watch, she can't move around freely alone. If it's possible, only with Sylva or Lighting, with her preferring the first one since he's less intended to hurt her and taunt her around.
About him, forcing her to eat with him alone in her room so no one can glance at her. Him giving her everything that he thinks she could like, only to see that she had put it in the pile of staff that he keeps bringing her.
About her, she had tried many times to escape the colony, to the point that the chain at her ankle had left so many scars that the skin reminded her of some strange material. That she's refusing to talk to him for days until he starts to get more aggressive, more violent.
About her, keeping her mouth shut every time he spoke about how great he is.
