Prowl isn't good with emotions, never has been, but when he starts getting feelings for someone he definitely notices every little thing about them. From the physical or verbal tics they may have all the way to the tone in their voice. He can even memorize all the lines they have on their forehead or forehelm. Hell he can even tell them apart from anyone else by the sound of their footsteps.
That's why he realizes immediately what's going on when he starts to catch feelings for you. He can tell when you're the one walking into his office to give him anything. He notices every little detail of your hand, from the lines to any little "imperfections" you have, as it gently places a report on his desk, how your fingers have a slight tremble to them when they pull away, he notices and memorizes it all.
He also notices how you tend to just leave the reports on his desk without chitchat when you actually talk to the others after giving them theirs. He can't deny to himself that it makes him jealous, that he gets angry with others for taking your attention when you barely give him so much as a hello. But at the same time, he understands why.
He knows he's not the easiest to get along with, nor is he the friendliest bot around, but still, he tries his best to be less brash with you. He hasn't yelled at you, and he hasn't said anything bad to you that he can recall.
So why do you avoid him so much?

He knows words can get around quickly. He knows he's done some questionable things. But they were for the greater good. Surely someone as intelligent as you could see that, right? TFA Prowl gets protective over human when another human starts flirting with them. Maybe a little jealous too?
Prowl normally didn't care when other humans started flirting with you because he knew you would always politely turn them down and mention you have a boyfriend and that would be the end of it.
But this one. Oh boy, this one is different. You've mentioned Prowl a couple of times but this guy has not let up. Prowl feels bad for eavesdropping on this conversation but he can tell just how uncomfortable you are. He gets up from his meditation spot a few feet away from your picnic blanket and starts to walk over to you.
He was happy when you offered to come out with him, but now he's wondering if you would have been better off staying home and watching TV with Bumblebee and Sari because this guy is relentless in his flirting and you're clearly not ok with it.
He walks over, standing behind the man flirting with you, casting a rather large shadow over him causing him to pause in his flirting and turn his head, "You uh, you need something bot?" He asks in a rather annoyed tone.
"I need you to stop flirting with my partner." Prowl says in an equally annoyed tone, "They're clearly uncomfortable with your persistence."
The man frowns then turns back to you, "You're with this piece of junk?" He then lets out a laugh, "C'mon babe, dump the tin can and get with a real man like me."
You let out an annoyed "Ugh."
"That's it." Prowl exclaims, lifting the man by the back of his shirt.
"Hey! Put me down you hunk of junk!" The man yells out.
"Gladly." Prowl responds, walking over to the park's dumpster and dropping the man inside.
You let out a laugh as the guy freaks out and tries to climb out of the dumpster, yelling about how gross it is before dropping to the ground below and stomping away.
Prowl walks back over and sits down beside you, "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, thanks Prowl." You respond, kissing his cheek.
He smiles and puts his servo on your back, "Not a problem. You deserve a park free of trash."
You laugh and lean your head on his arm, finally getting to enjoy the peace and quiet.

💛 He's a bit torn on the concept. He thinks that it's great that you have a way to protect yourself when he can't be near you, but it's also a bit weird to see his small squishy S/O in what could very well be a Cybertronian corpse.
💛 Not that it wouldn't be badass and super hot of you to run around in a fallen Cybertronian's corpse, it's just the fact that it's a dragon that makes him think of a predacon.
💛 You'll have to explain that it isn't a dead Cybertronian but a robot built by humans, he feels better about it once he realizes you aren't parading around in one of his fallen brethren.
💛 He likes that it can fly. He loves to be able to take to the skies with you, especially at night.
💛 He'll also ask you to train with him so that he can teach you some fighting techniques, especially some old Predacon warrior moves.

I have a sassy guinea pig with a shiny black coat, she is constantly grooming. But as sassy as she is she gets happy to see me and will run circles around me when I let her out. 🖤 Prowl knew you had guinea pig before you two even started dating because you would talk about her sometimes at the base.
🖤 He'd only seen pictures of her on your phone when you were showing them to Bee, Sari, and Bulkhead, but he was fascinated by the little creature.
🖤 He's thrilled when you finally bring her over shortly after you two start dating. He lets out a soft gasp the first time you place her in his servos.
🖤 He's seen mice, rats, and voles in the forest and city before but he's never gotten the chance to see a guinea pig in real life, he loves seeing the difference in creatures that are closely related.
🖤 It doesn't take him long to completely love your guinea pig. He likes watching her run around you when you bring her over, and has gotten to where he'll keep treats in a small drawer for when you bring her over.

♥️ You mentioned having a "guinea pig" beforw but he honestly had no idea what that was so he had to Google it.
♥️ He's a little confused as to why humans would keep rodents as pets but hey, your kind can be pretty weird to him anyway so he supposes he can overlook it.
♥️ When you bring her over for the first time he's a bit hesitant on touching her, halfway because "ew a new organic creature he isn't used to" and halfway because he's scared he might accidentally hurt her since she's so small and that it'd upset you.
♥️ When he watches her groom and asks what she's doing you'll tell him, and then tell him she's doing that constantly. That gets him to warm up to her faster. He can appreciate any creature that is constantly taking care of itself and it's appearance.
♥️ He likes watching her run around you and and has come to like the noises she makes, he thinks they're actually kinda cute. He also likes the sassyness, joking that this guinea pig is a mini organic version of himself.

Prowl didn't take breaks often, and he never really took time off, so he was rather agitated when you first brought up forcing him to take a day off. He kept dreading it in the pit of his stomach. It's not that he doesn't want to spend time with you, he does, really! He's just too much of a workaholic and doesn't see the point of having an entire day of doing nothing like you suggested.
It just seems so… wasteful? Nothing? How can he just do nothing? He knows breaks are good for a bot, and he can take you interrupting his work to have some energon and goodies with him, but a whole day of no progress on anything? He just doesn't see the point.
He arrives at your place, on time of course, and waits for you to open your door to him. When you do open it you give him a big smile and wrap your arms around him.
"I'm gonna be honest Prowl, I didn't think you'd actually come." You chuckle out with that cute voice that brings warmth to his spark.
He wraps his arms around you as well, resting his helm between your shoulder and neck, "Of course I came here, you wanted me to." He says in a rather matter-of-fact monotone, but you know all too well that's his way of showing his devotion.
"Come on in," you say, taking his servo into your own and leading him into your home.
His spark pulses as he looks down at your servo intertwined with his. You lead him into your habsuite, a room he's never been in before, which sends another pulse through him as his cheeks begin to glow a soft pink, and you tell him to take a seat on your berth.
"I thought maybe we could watch some movies together," You smile at him, "I even got us some snacks. Hold on, I'll go get them!" you say leaving the room and rushing down your hall.
Prowl lifted a servo to cover half his face, he knew he was blushing, he could feel the heat in his cheeks as his cooling fans kicked in. He's never been in your room before, hell he's barely been in your house. It wouldn't be so embarrassing if you didn't have a few pictures of you and him hanging on your wall and sitting beside your berth on a small table.
He recognizes the pictures too, some are your dates, some are of times when you crashed by his workspace to hang out, the one on the table is of the two of you smiling… laughing… something he didn't do often. The thought that you save every memory of him and even cherish them enough to print them out and keep them in your room overwhelms him with emotion.
"Ok I'm back!" You say coming into the room with arms full of snacks, "I even got your favorite, energon donuts!" You say trying to point to them but your arms are too full.
"Here, let me help you with that." He says hoping up from your berth and grabbing some of the snacks, placing them on the table next to the picture of the two of you.
"Hey Prowl, your face is kinda red? Is something wrong?" You ask tilting your helm.
"No…" He whispers.
You smile again and your optics soften on the bot as you notice him staring at the picture, "That one is my favorite you know," you pause, "I think you have a wonderful smile Prowl." He can hear the sincerity in your voice.
"L-let's just start the movies." He stutters out, keeping his now fully flushed helm pointed away from you.
You give a soft, warm smile, and set the rest of the goodies down and sit down on your berth, patting the spot beside you. He sits down close by, leaving a small space between the two of you, but you scoot closer and rest your helm on his shoulder as you start up the movies you borrowed from Bluestreak and Swerve.
"I borrowed some detective movies from a couple of friends. I thought you might like those." You say handing him an energon donut.
He takes it from you gently, biting into it as you grab a box of rust sticks to enjoy as the monitor plays a grainy human film. You scoot back a bit, coaxing Prowl to move toward you, and he curiously complies. You lay back, so that your back is to the head of the berth and you let Prowl lay his helm on your chest as you wrap an arm around him. He can feel the heat rising to his cheeks again as hold him so tenderly against your own chassis, your spark humming softly in his audial. He's not sure about it at first and tenses up, but soon you feel him start to relax as you hold him and rub his back and play with his chevron a bit. He lets out a sigh, one of content, as the two of you watch the movie play out entangled on each other.

Prowl wasn't expecting you to ask to hear his spark on your park picnic but he's more than happy to oblige. Especially when you're looking up at him in such awe, that in itself makes his spark flutter.
He looks down at you and smiles, "Of course." he says laying his servo on the blanket for you to crawl onto.
You set yourself onto his servo and he raises you to his chassis. You press your ear close to his spark chamber to listen. You hear a soft hum through his chassis, like a car's engine idle. You can hear it skip a few hums too, almost like it's pulsing. You look up at Prowl's face and notice he's looking away and his cheeks are glowing light pink. That must be why it's doing that, he's nervous or embarrassed having you this close. You giggle and pull your head back.
"Ok, it's your turn." You say looking up at him with a small, sweet smile.
"What?" He snaps his attention back to you.
"You can listen to my heartbeat!"
He can feel his spark flutter again. He's been curious about the human heart and how it sounds. He lifts you to his helm and gently presses his audial to your chest, trying carefully to avoid laying it too much on your breasts as well.
It's amazing! Wondrous! It's... it's...
"Fascinating!" He lets out in small gasp.
He listens closely to how your heart bumps, faster and faster, like small pleasant drum beats against his helm. And he can feel it! You can't feel sparks against a bots chassis, only hear them, but this is so different from anything a spark can do! It sounds and feels so alive! He's absolutely captivated by the gentle thumping in your chest.
"You like heartbeats then, I take it?"
Prowl pulls back realizing that he took longer to listen than he intended to and another blush crosses his cheeks.
"Yes. Sorry… I didn't mean to listen so long." He says setting you back on the blanket.
You smile at him, "It's fine Prowl, you can listen as for as long as you want to." You reassure him.
"Well you seem to have finished your meal, would it be ok to lay on you to feel your heartbeat then?"
"Sure." You say packing things back up in your picnic basket.
You move the basket to the side and lay down, giving you a good view of the clouds in the sky. He mass-displaces and lays his helm against your chest once again, watching the river nearby flow as ducks splash and swim around in it. A content smile spreads across his face, this is the happiest he's been in a long time.

He’s actually kind of excited once he thinks you may like him back.
He’s also scared as hell too! He’s never been with a human before what if he messes up?! What if you like him but don’t actually want to be with him?!
He wants to ask you about it but he also doesn’t want to embarrass you so he’ll wait a bit longer.
He overhears you talking to yourself. He doesn’t mean to eavesdrop but when he hears his name he lingers a bit longer, when you mention having a crush on him his spark flutters and his cheeks glow.
He decides to wait until later that night to tell you he overheard you and confesses that he feels the same way.
Ratchet
He first starts suspecting you have a crush on him when you hang around him more and laugh at a few things he says.
He pushes those thoughts down though, with “Ah of course not” and “I’m too old” and “I’m not attractive enough for younger folks to chase after me”.
When he overhears you trying to practice a confession a faint smile crosses his face as his spark chamber warms up.
He won’t tell you he heard you and he’ll let you decide whether or not you actually want to make an actual confession to him.
If you tell him he’ll try to act like it isn’t a big deal but you can see his cheeks glowing as he tells you that it is kind of nice that someone would actually take interest in an old bot like him and that he’s maybe taken an interest in you too.
Prowl
Prowl actually suspects pretty quickly that you may have feelings for him.
He will not bring it up of course, he knows that if you do like him you will tell him on your own time.
He overhears you talking to yourself and stealthy listens outside the door when he hears his own name mentioned, and smiles when hears your confession.
He will patiently wait for you to come to him with your real confession.
Once you do he tells you his feelings for you as well, he also mentions that it must have taken a lot of bravery for you to tell him and that he’s proud of you for finding the courage to do so.
