Prowl decides to go for a walk. This is, of course, when Lockdown ambushes him.

Lockdown is Prowl’s bodyguard at the moment. Neither of them like the situation, but being forced to do this task doesn’t make it any better.

In all seriousness, i think there is so much untapped potential for carrier lockdown. It's just an interesting concept to me. I've written over 20k words about it, and i will write more.

Like imagine lockdown being torn between his bounty hunter lifestyle and his child. How does lockdown feelings towards the sire of his child (swindle or prowl or whoever you want the sire to be) change? Does he keep the sparkling? Does he give the child up? How does he cope with pregnancy hormones? Imagine lockdown going through mood swings, and struggling with all these new, strong feelings. Lockdown's a very appearence conscious mech. How would he feel when his carrying cycle becomes visible? Is he more at risk for being attacked by rival bounty hunters?

Let's say lockdown ends up giving up his sparkling. Does he miss his baby? Does he feel he made the right choice? Does he keep tabs on the sparkling and their adoptive parents? What if lockdown ends up putting his sparkling and their adoptive parents in danger? Would he forgive himself if anything happened to them? What if he chose to stay away from his sparkling and their adoptive family because of the nature of his work?

If lockdown chose to keep the sparkling, where would he stay to raise them? Would he end up contacting the sire to help him find somewhere to live? Would he decide to find somewhere to live on his own? Does he even want the sire in the sparkling's life? When he settles down, does he still work as a bounty hunter still? If not, does he miss his life as a bounty hunter? Does he love the thrill of the hunt more than his sparkling? Does him and his sparkling end up being targets because of their vulnerability?

It's just so much untapped potential! You don't even need to have ships to make this concept interesting!
