4) favorite character you’ve written

Oh wow, I’ve written for... a lot of characters in various ways over the years... Currently though, I’d have to say Miles, I think. He was a surprise in that I didn’t expect to start writing him, but now that I’ve started, it’s really cool to get into his head, and develop him. He’s a really interesting and criminally underused and appreciated character too!

7) when asked, are you embarrassed or enthusiastic to tell people that you write?

Depends on who’s asking. In general, as long as they aren’t a creep or a stranger, I love talking about it though. How I phrase what I write really depends though, and it took a while for me to come to terms with what I like writing. 

25) copy/paste a few sentences or a short paragraph that you’re particularly proud of

That’s such a cute idea… One day I plan on drawing child!Miles in a grape costume like in my fic, maybe when I do that i’ll give him a little bow too :’) I love that hahaha, she just draws goofy stick figures of them xD and literally my irl friend and I always talk about that… Like “what if Miles had a really nice singing voice that Olivier really really liked” so I’m soo glad you have that headcanon too ;u;

9. Fake dating or arranged marriage? 

In terms of writing, uh… that’s hard actually. I love both of those tropes but probably arranged marriage just because I think it’s a sweet idea to see two characters who possibly really dislike each other come together and eventually realize that they’re in love??

17. Describe a fic that is still in the ‘ideas’ stage.

The Assassin’s Creed!AU! Miles, like many assassins in canon, experiences hardship that leads him to discover the brotherhood upon encountering their protection (and destruction) for the first time– and thus, after seeking out the two assassins who helped him, he wishes to join them in order to further protect citizens who cannot protect themselves, and to fight against evil and its current grip on the city. 

While the bigger brute-class member of the creed is happy to have a new ally, the smaller, more roguelike of the two isn’t so keen on teaching someone with such a soft heart as him.

1) Blanche Brier from the Fairy Tale Novels: I’m currently rereading The Shadow of the Bear and I have a new appreciation for her, especially for how she tries to be wise and careful and how she carries all her fear.

2) Mercy Rios from The Ashtown Burials: She’s not had a lot of page time, but I loved her right away - she doesn’t know how to give up, despite everything she’s been through.

3) Kate Sutton from The Perilous Gard: She’s honest and steadfast - and very relatable.

4) Riza Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist: She has a lot of good traits, but one that particularly stands out is how she takes responsibility for her actions.

5) Steris Harms from the Wax & Wayne series: She doesn’t see the world the same way as most other people, but she’s aware of it and doesn’t let it stop her.

6) Anne Eliot from Persuasion: She doesn’t waste a lot of time wishing about what might have been, instead finding grace and strength to do what is needed where she is at.

11. What do you like best about this fic?

I guess what first comes to mind is the fact that it’s been in the works for probably almost 4 years now, and I’m happy that’s it’s finally getting down “on paper” for people to see, and there’s a few people who actually seem to enjoy it. It’s also been my first writing project I’ve ever finished (I mean, it’s not yet, but there’s only going to be a few more chapters and there’s no danger of me stopping at this point) and I’ve been writing/making stories for most of my life, but I never finished any. So that’s kind of a big deal to me :’)

I’m glad that I’ve been able to share my love for LivMiles with people. Even though people have told me they’ve started shipping it through my art rather than fic, I feel like TNT can give them more of an idea why I ship them when it comes to their characters. It’s also been fun making the OCs that they interact with, and I’ve always loved extended lore in franchises, so I wanted to try my hand at it. It really is left up in the air in regards to what happens with the whole Drachma thing after the Promised Day so I’m glad I was able to at least attempt to introduce some plausible post-series conflict. 

12. What do you like least about this fic?

Where do I start x’D I guess the main thing isn’t really the fics fault, but mine? I get self-conscious about my content so easily that it’s laughable, so I take it personally when it hardly gets any feedback and hardly any views or kudos. I feel like it’s because my writing sucks, or the characters aren’t IC, or readers hate the ship, or the plot’s dumb, etc. When I think about that, combined with my depressive moods, it makes me want to pack it all up and give up writing and drawing forever lmao. Still, that’s when the few of you who do give me feedback come in and always make me feel better, which is another thing I like best about the fic– it’s given me wonderful friends who I love <3

But back to what I don’t like lmao. One of my main worries is the characters not being IC because, I’ve mentioned it to you before, but we never see Liv or Miles is any sort of situation that’s not dire (i.e. the events surrounding the Promised Day) so it’s difficult to say what they’d be like in the calm, or, even more so, a romantic situation. That plus my occasional lack of motivation is what I like least, because it’s not like a drabble where I can just do it quickly, and it’s a single idea I don’t have to work too hard on. Like I said, TNT has been in the back of my mind lurking for nearly 4 years, and there’s kind of a lot that happens? A lot of small things, at least, so it’s easy for me to get tired of it very quickly.
