Good overview for anyone protesting today. Turn off biometrics!

So I see a lot of people saying that we need to keep protesting/fighting for change regardless of who wins, but I haven’t see anyone talk about the actual causes we need to fight for, so here are a few I can think of off the top of my head.
- Abolish the police (obviously).
- Get rid of the death penalty.Â
- Work on other aspects of systemic racism (i.e. racism in healthcare).
- Free healthcare/housing/generally just make it so being poor isn’t a death sentence.
- Improve the process of getting disability (some people have to wait over 10 years to get the money they need to survive!).
- Abolish the electoral college.
- Limit the U.S. army spending/withdrawal our troops from certain conflicts.
- Related to the last point, push for green energy so we don’t have to keep invading other countries to support our ridiculously high need for oil.
I live in Pennsylvania (near Washington D.C.) so if there are any national protests going on in D.C. please keep me in the loop! I’m disabled and also not very confident so organizing protests isn’t my thing, but I’m willing to attend if anyone else is organizing.Â
