#prop 67

I don't know if any of you were affected by Prop 67 but it's a gesture and makes me feel better about all the times I got in trouble for asking the checker to please take my purchases (and canvas bag) out of the plastic bag.

Friendly reminder that regardless on how you vote on 65, you should vote yes on 67. Prop 67 proposes a mandatory $0.10 fee on plastic bags in order to reduce plastic waste and encourage the use of reusable bags. Profits from 67 can be allocated wherever the grocery store wishes. Prop 65 is not in opposition to 67, but adds that those profits are redirected towards environmental programs. It was introduced by plastic companies in order to confuse voters. Once again 65 and 67 are not in opposition in the way that 62 and 66 are.

TL;DR: Yes on 67, whatever you want on 65.
