Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that one of my IRL friends has a Tumblr account where she does free proofreading! She hasn’t gotten any requests yet, so I thought I’d advertise her here. If you aren’t interested in having a proofreader, feel free to keep scrolling.
If you’re still here, awesome! Like I said, my friend is doing free proofreading, on pretty much everything: fanfics, hcs, drabbles, oneshots, vents…you name it, she’ll (probably, provided it follows their rules) do it. She’s a native English speaker, and she’s really good at what she does. I’ve had her proofread my writings (not for Tumblr, for other things) for a while now, and she’s great at it. Just DM her and she’ll have you send your work to her email (or to her Tumblr inbox, I’m not exactly sure how she plans on doing it lol), she’ll proofread it and then send it right back. She’s 100% legit, I can promise you that. So, whether you aren’t a native Enlish speaker, don’t have the time to do it yourself, or just don’t really want to proofread your own stuff, you can message her and she’ll do it for you!

Would anybody be interesting in beta/proof reading the Hunter and Omega analysis posts I’ve been making over the past month?
I’ve been asking Jamie to proof read the previous posts, and I feel awful for making them do it over and over again. It’s nothing extensive persay, I’m just sure she didn’t ask for this lmao (considering she doesn’t watch the show!)
The job is simply picking out the grammar/spelling mistakes or poorly worded sentences so I can fix them before posting, of course no offence is taken, I need these to be as perfect as they possibly can be. I can edit a piece of text 1000 times and still miss something a new set of eyes would spot immediately!
If multiple people are interested I’ll switch out the beta readers every so often (although this isn’t permanent of course, if you message me saying you won’t be able to proof read on a certain week I’m not going to hold it against you! My schedule is absolutely shocking so that’d be very hypocritical of me!)
And when the series is over (I’m planning of 15 parts as Devils Deal and Rescue on Ryloth will be joint) I’ll be posting a masterlist with each specific episode analysis linked, and all of my beta readers (yes Jamie, you too!) linked for credit.
