In 2017 I suffered from a ton of trauma & pain... nothing different than what I've been accustom to my whole life, BUT I don't feel broken, tainted, or damaged at all... more than anything I feel STRONGER, WISER, & most of all I feel INDESTRUCTABLE! Through the pain, I learned how to satisfy & love myself for who i truly am, who I remember myself to be even as a young child. Really I've never changed, matured for sure, but never compromised myself for anything or anyone else. I'm proud of who I've become and who I'm constantly becoming. In the past, I've always been the girl to put others before myself, constantly breaking my neck to make others happy and make their dreams come true. For the longest time, i felt that doing this was fulfilling for ME. I felt that there was a beauty in my SELFLESSNESS & eventually that would be recognized (until u get trampled on a billion times, ta!). Now I realize, the best thing I can do for myself during the transition of losing my father and losing so called "love" in others is to hold myself in the position my father always taught me I deserved to be in.
