Summary: When one runs the most notable holistic detective agency in the Pacific Northwest, the second most frequent cases, besides the inordinate amount of kittens that go missing from Seattle, tend to be of the death-y sort. Clients are always concerned with who murdered whom, which was rather intriguing and mysterious early on, but by the umpteenth death, it really feels as if people can do much more interesting things than murdering one another. On occasion, murders were more intriguing, like the time with the deceased sentient alpaca and associated alchemical book smuggler, but of the late? It had been rather droll. That’s why when a reverse murder mystery came about at a local museum where the curators were concerned with who reanimated said dead bodies, Dirk Gently took the case without hesitation.
