As someone who has kinks myself, and also follows sex workers and supports them, I would never kink shame anyone as long as what they are doing is safe, sane, and consensual.
However, if you aren’t a porn star or other kind of sex worker, I don’t think you should discuss your kinks with fans. There are a lot of young users on Tumblr as well as a lot of young people who were fans of Jared. Don’t act like he’s views were mainly people in there 30s because that just isn’t true, I feel like especially after Asagao Academy came out because younger people tend to like dating games and it was set in high school.
I just answered an anon where someone was 13 when they were first on his blog, I was 15 or 16, we know that people lied about their ages so they could sext with Jared and they were actually underage.
It’s not appropriate to be sexual with fans. The power imbalance just isn’t okay. What Jared did, using his platform to be sexually involved with fans, was not safe nor was it consensual due to the power imbalance and the fact that minors were involved at times.
