So, today will be the first real day of America under President Trump.  And yes, he IS the president, so I’m not going to agree with trends like #NotMyPresident.  No, I don’t like the guy, I haven’t since the day he took out a full page ad in the Daily News about the falsely accused young boys in the Central Park Jogger case.   I may of 1989 Donald Trump at this to say about the case:

“How can our great society tolerate the continued brutalization of its citizens by crazed misfits? Criminals must be told that their CIVIL LIBERTIES END WHEN AN ATTACK ON OUR SAFETY BEGINS!” And his headline suggested what ought to be done with them:

BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. BRING BACK OUR POLICE!”

I part of the United African Movement and the December 12th Movement and a bunch of other groups and marches and fundraisers trying to stop the shameful railroading of those boys.  But the point is this is the guy whose going to become President of the United States, both the greatest country as well as the one of the most horrible.  And there’s a sentiment that this is going to spell change and the world is about to become darker.

Well, except Trump supporters who are suffering from the exact same delusion as Obama supporters around them.   We all thought Obama meant change, and that was both true in a very positive way and false in the most dangerous.   Trump was elected on exactly the same surface ideal that is the larger then life concept called CHANGE.  

Like him or hate him Trump is change.   He’s never held office in his life.  He said things absolutely no other president has said before.   He campaigned more like he was a “bad boy” character on the 1980′s TV show Dallas then as if he was in an actual presidential election.   He beat everyone with Twitter  Let that last on sink in.

With TWITTER.

The question is, what kind of world is this country about to become?  Will Donald Trump build walls and drain swamps?   Will he get us into a nuclear punching match with, well, anyone?   Will the Nazis rise up and start opening camps and deporting non-Aryans?   What’s going to happen to this weird, two-faced, fun, magnificent bastard of a country I was born in.

There is a war going on.  It’s not “going to happen” it’s already here.  The issue is too many people got it wrong.   Yes Donald Trump ran on racism and xenophobia and divisiveness and flat out lies and insanity.  However the more importantly the bulk of Donald Trump supporters are all the racism, sexist bully assholes who are tired of being told by the PC Police that they couldn’t be racist, sexist assholes anymore.  That’s pretty much what makes up Trump supporters.  The rest of them are people who might not be racist, sexist assholes but buy into the but supported racist, sexist assholes in the name of “change.”

Just like Black people supported that young bi-racial senator without looking up or at his record and what he actually did in the Senate.

Donald Trump is essentially a Kardashian..  He does and says shit but it’s obviously about attention and attention is a big business in the world of Social Media and YouTube channels.  He literally used racism, sexism, xenophobia as a platform and new it would attract a specific audience.   Hillary Clinton being so completely awful and the action of the DNC during the primaries only helped him with that.   He’s Joker crazy in that he’s smart of enough to direct his evil to suit him.

But doing that has stirred the pot and all the fat and used oil and heavy material that sinks to the bottom of that swamp and come together.   Conservatives have spent 30 years setting themselves up as the patron saints of racist, sexist and religious nut assholes.   And now they are together like an army of orcs ready to make kristallnacht a fucking thing.  That’s the real war.   That’s what’s coming down the pike.   The other side is making the mistake of not taking that seriously enough.   There’s a “well, it can’t happen again” feeling that seems to go with the activism.   People have been arguing stupid shit like “Well, sure they voted for Trump but racism and sexism was not the only reason.”   What they mean to say is those who are so-called liberals or progressives ignored the fact that Hillary Clinton was everything they are supposed to be opposed to and that fact over-shadowed the whole “first woman president.”   They were calling actual feminists, people of color, activists who were normally on their side “ white male sexists” for saying “Hey, Hillary Clinton has serious problems.”  Progressives dropped the ball.   This made the “Hillary” side of the Trump Supporter argument look correct.  And now the army of what makes this country horrible is gathered together in celebration that their dark lord (whose actually just a powerless eye on a mountain) bathes them with praise.   The Conservatives are in charge and they hate progress and fair play and justice and they means to put a stop to it.
