"Coalition" is another of Bertie Carvel's projects in which he worked with people from the GoT universe years before he became a part of it. I am referring to Mark Gatiss and Donald Sumpter, who both played Tycho Nestoris and Maester Luwin, respectively.
I just love how his past is connected to a universe in which he would become internationally beloved and deemed one of the most honorable characters of the GoT franchise. Baelor Targaryen, you will always be famous and the greatest king that never was.
Bertie Carvel's performance in "Coalition" was superb; he always delivers magnificent portrayals, and I would love to see him in a political thriller where he plays the hero.
This scene in “Coalition” was hilarious because, without the context, it looked like two men were trying to win Bertie Carvel’s hand in marriage.

I loved how sexy Bertie Carvel looked in "Coalition," but also a bit teary-eyed for most of it, which I found really hot.
I didn't expect this close-up of Bertie's hand in a movie where he plays that man, but I'm grateful.
I continued watching Bertie Carvel projects, and my admiration for him really led me to watch a film about the 2010 UK general election. I do remember when the whole “hung parliament” thing happened, and how every comedian was making jokes about the word “hung” on their talk shows.
But now I find it even more hilarious because of all those viral tweets about Bertie's “hung smile.” So, at the end of the movie when he started smiling, it made me go feral.
