Something really struck me while reading @wallf1ower's recent post in response to a tag game, and I wanted to give my opinions in it.
Programming really does have a special place in my heart. It does not really look like it has any emotional value to it like art, or writing, or music but programmers know. I am so attached to it, it's my escape.
And it is also true that we sometimes get emotionally attached to a particular coding language, like a pet <3 due to many reasons. I did do a bit of Java as my first programming language in school, but Python was my key to the coding universe as I like to call it.
I love every second I spend in front of my laptop creating something, and knowing that although how hard the process may be, the output will be beautiful, and it will be my own creation, and I would be proud of it. This can be applied to any situation in real life, and it's surprising how programming has given me the confidence that I need to get through life.
It's funny how some things you like at a young age may seem temporary, but turn out to be the very element that shapes your future the way you love.

Yes, it's still the same low-quality pictures (I really need a better phone) and the same desk (I am yet to find study locations, thinking of a park a few roads away from home).
After a week of literally no time to study, I have returned! Reviewing certain concepts, learning and relearning - it's a pleasant evening.
I have been personally victimized by the difference between "while" and "if." If you have also felt this pain, you're not alone. Together, we will get through this.
Wow, youtube api really does Not Want you to be able to access your watch later playlist info.

Another not sci-fi story post
a friend of mine showed me two projects they are quite proud of creating, and I'm super happy for them as well. So much so that I asked if I oculd share their project with anyone that may rea this.
So here goes.
The first one is a nifty scrunch Editer, I think. It's fairly explanatory in the listing they have for it so here's the link.

The second is a nice and handy note editor. For those more knowledgeable with programming and so forth I'm sure you would find this supremely handy.

So thank you much Claude for sharing these with me and for giving permission to share these with the world at large.
Just spent my whole morning finally updating my Mac to OS Big Sur and then fixing my python dependencies it broke because they decided to change their shells from bash to zsh WHICH THEY DID NOT SAY IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE OS that would have been really nice to know!
Like I like the look of zsh, it sounds cool. But still, had I known beforehand I would have done some reading first!
It was about damn time I got myself a github thingy. I would never be able to forgive myself if I “accidentally” lost the project I’ve been working on for 6+ months..
