I’m actually legit shocked by some of the response I’ve seen to this episode. I’m shocked that people expected Dean to yell or be angry with John. I wonder if those people have actually remembered the last 14 years of the show, and everything Dean’s been through regarding John.

I honestly would’ve been damn angry on Dean’s behalf if he actually had yelled about anything at John. Because he’s fucking grown up. He gets that John isn’t in charge of his life anymore, and hasn’t been for a really, really long time. He was a ghost hanging over his life, yes, but that was because Dean himself couldn’t let him go.

Now he can.

To sum it up, its a BDSM fic and Dean is pr**tit*te who visits Cas privately at his house at night and they slowly fall in love. Its a very emotional heavy (don’t read it all in one sitting) story and you get to see a lot of it via Dean’s POV/in his head. As the destielfanfic post said, its not a smutfest, and it kinda balances out. I really truly do love it and totally recommend it. Just read the warning if there’s anything you don’t like of course :P

It’s hilarious. People who don’t see the subversion coming are going be confused but pleasantly surprised (cos it’s a positive thing) and those who have REFUSED to see it even though it’s right in their face are going to be pissed.

When you find yourself screaming OOC or flat out ignoring canon (like Dean’s grief in 13x01, Cas being Jack’s chosen father, family not ending in blood, Dean’s softer side etc) I think you have to reassess your view of the character and canon.

We have the best cast who are best friends and who have so much fun being around each other :) 

IKR, generally I just ignore it but I do so enjoy the ones like this where they just totally disregard actual fact. It’s like we all go to a lovely beach together courtesy of the CW…

We set up our parasols and settle down for a nice day talking and laughing amongst ourselves with a pina colada, some of us write about how lovely it is, some sketch and paint, whatever, it’s all lovely and we go home nice and tanned and full of lovely vitamin D and memories of good times…

They yell and moan all day, throw rocks at the sea cos they don’t like how it’s moving, don’t put sunblock on and shout at the sun for daring to burn them, dig their own hole, jump in it then are like “YOU’RE THE IDIOTS!” to us, just as the tide comes in.
