© Australian Ikara Test Missile T-362 . . Named for an aboriginal weapon, Ikara was a ship-launched anti-submarine missile developed by Australia in the early 1960s. The rocket-propelled missile could carry acoustic torpedoes or nuclear depth charges. Ikara missiles were fitted to warships of the Royal Australian Navy, Brazilian Navy, Chilean Navy, Royal New Zealand Navy, and British Royal Navy until as late as the 1990s.
