anyways yeah, I'm proud of myself since I outsmarted him in talking about Clitemnestra (I JUST LOVE HER. PLS.) bc am assisting my dad in fixing the script of the play Elettra (i love elettra too tbh) for his actors 😔

eyes refuse to leave his,  entirely focused on his words and whatever else she can gather from what he DOESN’T say.  talking about this is dangerous.  it’s risky for her to even ask,  yet she can’t help herself.  she knows he feels something for her  ——-  or at least,  that’s what she has convinced herself,  because she wants to believe there’s a way that he is HOOKED on her besides whatever physical intimacy they have.  she doesn’t ignore the way he looks at her or the way he holds her afterwards  ——   there’s something there,  she just doesn’t know what,  and comparing it to what he’s had in the past may do the trick.  lips rub together,  and she’s partly excited from his words and partly curious.  if he hasn’t,  then his girlfriend isn’t someone he loves, and that makes getting him away from her even easier.  but that also means he may not be in love with HER.  she can’t expect him to be,  yet she wonders if it’s possible.  ❝  no,  ❞  she  quickly insists.  she wants him to question why he’s so drawn to her.  ❝ but  ——  ❞  she starts,  tongue swiping over her lips.  ❝ you have with me,  right? we have passion.  ❞  and she’s not trying to insist that he loves her,  but she is trying to show him that he doesn’t love his girlfriend.  she holds her breath as he insists he’s been thinking about it,  even more excited now.   ❝ maybe you like the consistency, ❞  she notes.  ❝  it’s someone to come home  to every night.  it’s something you can always count on, ❞  she says,  shrugging her shoulders.  it’s not all about her.  she does want to help him.  ❝ but maybe it’s not HER you like, ❞  she notes with a gulp.  she quickly jolts her body back as she watches him fall out of the daze he is in,  her head shaking.  ❝  no,  no  - —— ❞  she stops him,  bringing her hand up to meet his cheek gently.  ❝  you can talk to me about anything.  don’t look at it that way.  i can be your friend too,  ❞  she notes,  her gaze softening.  ❝  i don’t know much about love,  but  ——-   maybe i do know a bit about first love.  ❞  she’s falling into it right now,  but she doesn’t specify that.  ❝  and i think  ——  that passion is how you know.  and you should never hold yourself back from having it.  ❞  she doesn’t want him to be stuck with his girlfriend,  and that’s not all about HER either.  it’s about caring for him.
