#procraftination

I have time to write. I have motivation to write. I have plotted out what I want to write. I have STARTED the NEXT CHAPTER. I get four sentences in before I realize I need to name another city because reasons. I then spend several HOURS looking up canon references for locations, documenting every city/town/village/location I have invented for my own canon because they don't exist in the OG canon. (We don't have any cities even LABELED on the map for the Wandering Isle?!) Inventing like 5 news places for future purposes. Laying out an entire timeline of Inej's "Lion Hunts" based in part on said invented locations. AND THEN ALSO, updating the map of the Grishaverse that I have putting overlays on to show all of my invented cities/towns/villages.

Um. I took a break for lunch, and now maybe I can start writing again? WTF, brain.

Sharing because this was ALMOST like a research rabbit hole, but instead was a creation crater that while, including WRITING, wasn't actually, yanno, WRITING. A creation crater is a pothole on the road to your goal, a procraftination, if you will.

Do I have a huge tests on Tuesday and Thursday? Yes

Did I spend over an hour making fanart for Transmission Folklore? Yes

Do I have any regrets? None what so ever

“I love our beautiful trans sky” is my favorite quote and recurring image in the podcast, Transmission Folklore, and it just brings me so much joy! This podcast is lovely, and the thirteenth episode and season finale came out last night, and it is absolutely amazing

took about 3 days slow work to crochet, stuff and assemble him and knit his robe. The eyes are embroidered on. The friend I'm making this for opted for no mouth so I omitted that step 💁‍♀️

I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, especially the robe, as knitting is not my forte. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it's sturdy enough to let him stand!
