welp. was trying to get livestream to work, but i may jump ship and find another platform. couldnât get the programâs chat feature to work, so i sent in a ticket. the response was basically that they know it doesnât work but that they wonât fix it ever:
Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, the chat feature of our Procaster software is no longer available with the software. The reason for this is because it is part of our Legacy platform which has not been under active development since 2012, which is why you are seeing this message. Apologies for this inconvenience. If you'd like to moderate the chat, you will need to do so via the channel page or your studio within your account center.
not sure what other method of livestreaming the site expects us to use if not procaster (i mean, if itâs a âlegacyâ platform that implies that something else has taken over).
just wanted to put this out there because i saw many people with the same problem as i hunted down solutions. basically the answer is that there is no answer.
Livestream Procaster is such a shit... Itâs like, it was programmed by an ape, with a stick and a rock. It freezes, it crashes, it doesn't let me stream. I have to keep trying to start it for like an HOUR, when I couldâve DRAW already for said hour. You know what? Your fancy fucking design is NOTHING if it doesn't work, and doesn't lets you further than a fucking âoh, Iâm loading some shitâ screen. You can shove your cool red button with beautiful black bars, UP YOUR ASS. Because THATâS WHERE IT BELONGS!!!! Why the fuck it keeps freezing??? FIX YOUR STUPID SHITTY PROGRAMM, LIVESTREAM!

Livestream Procaster Chat Issues?
Hey, hoping that someone else might have this issue AND have solved it, because I keep seeing people talking about having it and then they either solve it and donât say HOW or they just do something awkward and inconvenient. Â My Google powers fail me.
SO, I just got a new laptop with Windows 10, and had previously been using a laptop from 2008 with Windows 7.  Everything works on my Windows 7 PC, but Iâm having this issue on my Windows 10 one, and I donât know what is actually causing the issue.  The Procasterâs chat tab (and all the others, actually, but this is the one really want) just has âThis feature requires Adobe Flash to be installed in the Procaster built-in browser. Click here to installâ  in it, and when I click, it asks me to restart the Procaster, but nothing happens when I do so.  The message is still there, itâs just an endless cycle.
Chrome says Flash is up to date, I donât know where to find a built in Procaster browser to even try this and when I copy the link that that text up there all points to? Â I just get this: Â DOWNLOADFLASHINPROCASTERÂ

ALTERNATELY, does anyone know of another piece of software that will let me stream AND give me the little chat window at the same time? Â I want to stream, but I need to see what people are saying and donât want to have to have my actual channel open in a window behind everything.Â

= w =;;; How the fuck does livestream work without good olâ procaster? I canât make heads or tails of this in browser stream, or the studio thing. I want to use Picarto qwq but OBS wont pick up my canvas screen in my animation programme... sigh.
