there is this group of individuals called the Conclave. they basically rule the world, no questions asked, and they monitor everything.

ky was very popular during the days of the war, due to him being very powerful and hunting down gears very fast. the conclave had their eye on him, wanting him to become the new king of europe. (basically europe all combined into one big country called Illyria. not that important.)

ky initially rejected the offer. but when the conclave threatened the lives his new wife and son, he had no choice but to begrudgingly accept. this is when ky's depression arc begins. look at him, he is so so riddled with catholic guilt.

wanting to protect his son, he asks Sol Badguy to take care of him and raise him, becoming his godfather essentially. as sin grows up, he learns to resent his father for not being there for him. making ky kiske the first transmasc absent father 👍. anyway.

time to bring this all together. as i mentioned, dizzy is the daughter of Justice.

Justice, before she was turned into a gear without her consent, was a regular human girl. her name was Aria, and she had a boyfriend named Frederick.

hang on this frederick guy is kind of familiar....

Sol Badguy was the first gear prototype, but before that, he was a human guy called .. Frederick. ohhhhhh.

so Sol Badguy is dizzy's father. making him also Sin's grandfather. and Ky's father in law.
