SOMEONE TO FALL BACK ON ➝ LILEXA.
Although Alexa liked to consider herself a strong person, this was proving to be too much even for her. As if what’d happened hadn’t been bad enough, she’d spent the last week throwing up at random, impromptu times, and was over a week late for what was usually a very regular period. A part of her wanted to believe it was just stress, and she planned to hold onto that until the last possible second, but she needed to be sure. She just couldn’t find out on her own, that was all. So, despite promising herself she’d never tell anybody about that night, she’d texted her best friend with shaky hands. She needed someone who would be there for her regardless of the outcome, and wasn’t trying to involve her family. It had taken all of her courage to pick up the tests at the pharmacy, and now they were hidden away safely in her purse as she let herself into Lilly’s place, then made her way slowly inside to find the other girl, kind of terrified of any judgment she may be met with.
