Mini rant about work
Oof I love my current partner and all but I really need to get on a different truck. I've worked with her for a long time now and we have a groove and work real well together so I'll be sad to lose that but she's become the stereotype burnt-out senior medic. It's the same type of patients that she consistently trys to BLS or doesn't take seriously and I'm tired of her getting mad at me for refusing to BLS a clearly ALS patient. Also the work load on this car is not worth it.
An ER RN that I previously had a good working relationship with filed a complaint against me and my partner bc she was in a bad mood and didn't want to do her job. Makes sense to me π€·ββοΈ. Just lost all respect I had for them and the other nurses involved.

Omg the person dispatching is so fucking stupid. It's just me signed into the truck. My partner isn't signed bc shes not here and she is late. Why are you trying to send me on p1 call? I can not take that. Are you dumb?

I always think it's funny when drunk people who are caught behind the wheel denied they were driving. Like sweetheart did you just magically appear here? You are parked on someone's lawn and across their driveway. Oh you weren't operating the vehicle drunk? Sweetie, I took the keys out of the engine.
