you can get decent quad core processors for not too much money afaik so i would recommend it!

yeah when i tried to run DA:I on my dual core machine i had the same issue as you which is why i thought it might be a processor one. But if it's run before on your computer then i'm not sure why it's not working anymore

sounds to me like a processor issue. Can you see what capacity your processor is working on? Regardless I'd try repairing your game through Origin as that sometimes helps

hmm.. I had a similar problem with Mass Effect a few days ago, after I reinstalled it; try clearing Origin's cache (like this: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-origin-cache-files/) and then updating the game (honestly, most of the time when my games don't work it's Origin's fault).

Unfortunately, the clearing the cache didn’t help :/ I’ve tried repairing the game before as well and it didn’t help any. I took a look at the processor at it runs at about 5-7% prior to starting the game. When I started Inquisition up it shot up to around 29% after trying to start it and then the icon disappeared. It did go up to 70% for a very brief moment. I should probably say that I only have 2 cores when I think the minimum specs is technically 4, but the game has always run well enough and was doing just fine when I last played in March.
