Its years after the final battle that Ruby and Annabelle see eachother again. The two hadnt seen eachother in person since the Royal funeral for Jet!
By pure coincidence when Annabelles crew are docked on the Yogurt Shoals for new supplies, it just so happens to be the same coastal town the Swirler Sisters have set up their big top.
Well, why shouldnt the crew of the newly christened boat, the Cold Bottle, pop over to watch a show? It's good entertainment for their time back on land!
The two catch eyes as Ruby swings from rope to rope, and neither are that suprised (however they are bothnervous), as the two end up waiting for the other after the show.
"My Imperial Princess,"
"Captain Annabelle"
They bow at eachother, but neither bother to hide the small snorts of laughter that comes from them, they were already far past formalities at this point.
"I would be lying if I said I hadnt forgotten Primsy telling me you finally joined the Circus! You have quite a talent Princess, I remember seeing you do similar tricks some time ago," she smirks, holding out an arm for Ruby to take.
"Well I'm sure Primsy's blooming relationship with Liam is far more intresting a tale than me running away from court" Ruby laughed, accepting Annabelle's arm as they slowly walked their way down the pier. "Its not like I'm the only one to choose to live their dreams after all, isnt that right Captain?"
She ended her sentence with a cheeky smile and Annabelle couldnt help but gave a small blush as she chuckled at the statement.
"I can only hope Princess, that you are as happy with that decision as the the person you talk about. Freedom looks good on you."
Ruby grinned, her hand gripping Annabelles arm slightly tighter.
She wasnt sure what it was, but something in the way Annabelle called her Princess didnt make it feel so much a title as it did with everyone else. And something about that sent a warm bubbley feeling to her belly.
"Hmm yeah, I think it looks good on the bother of us."
