Last demands you share your snacks by over-aggressive nosing.

The cold that seeped from the walls and ceiling of the tunnels burrowed its way into her bones without mercy. Exhaling slowly, Evelyn smoothed her hair down over the back of her neck and zipped her jacket up as high as it would go. Cyan eyes kept wide to take in a much light as possible, searching for something- anything- that could tell her where she was or how she could escape. 

Where was this place anyway?

As far as she could tell she was still in the mortal realm, Midgard, but that meant little. Was she still on Earth? Was she elsewhere? Whomever had blindsided and knocked her out while she was traversing her Bifrost had done a good job in ensuring she woke up lost and in the dark.

Literally.

Cyan fire hissed and came to life around one hand, bathing the immediate area around her in light. The floor was packed dirt and rock, as was the ceiling, with roots occasionally snaking out and posing a small tripping hazard. The walls appeared to be stone, lichen and moss thriving in the cracks and natural dips. Randomly dotting the path were small puddles of water, fresh water from the looks of it. 

Okay, so the place had a breathable atmosphere and appeared to be capable of supporting organic life.. that gave some minor relief, but told Evelyn little of where she was; and the eerie silence was doing little to ease her fight or flight instincts. With only dripping water and the sound of her breathing being the only noise she couldn’t help but feel like she was being observed, stalked even.
